Insect fly killer is the equipment which are used to kill the flying insects like flies, mosquitoes, wasp, hornet etc at indoor area. It consist of ultra violet tube light which emits black light to attract these flying insects inside the equipment. There are two types of machines with different killing mode of actions.
With electric power grid contains 240 volts current can kill the insects & dead insects fall into the trays fitted below the machines. Periodically this tray requires cleaning on regular basis.
Advantage : Low maintenance cost (due to the no periodical parts require to replace except UV tubes)
Disadvantages of these machines are not recommended for the fire prone zone (i.e. near inflammable gases /solvent area). These can also not recommend for the laboratory / operation area in hospital/ food manufacturing units because the dead insect’s body parts shall disperse into the air flow could contaminate the raw material/ finished products.
